This will most likely be the shortest review I’ve written to date as I’m basically just covering the
quality of the XBOX 360 Audio/Visual cables that eXtreme-mods was kind enough to send me. The “Dragon 360”
cables basically do the same job as the official Microsoft cables, but are a lot cheaper when it comes to
their price tag.
Each cable comes packaged in a professional looking box and once opened are comparable to the first party
cables as they are thick and feature gold connectors for the best possible signal. The component cable
comes with your normal Red, Green and Yellow plugs allowing you to use your XBOX 360 on a standard
television, but then also features the additional connectors allowing you to enjoy the console in high
definition.
The VGA cable comes with a single VGA connector allowing you to enjoy your XBOX 360 on your computer
monitor and/or compatible HDTV. Additionally, each cable has an optical out for the audio signal if
you’re one of the lucky people to have an audio receiver which can support such a connection.
I own both first party cables and when using Dragon’s I see no difference in quality and/or performance.
They are basically the same deal with a cheaper price tag. If you’re in the market for connecting your
XBOX 360 to a High Definition compatible device you can’t go wrong with these cables.
