Team Xtender's (XCM) line of chrome products for the XBOX™ 360™ are a great way to deck your console out to the
extreme. Using their Chrome Replacement Cases including the Main Case, Controller Shell and Hard Drive case you
can transform your XBOX 360 into an impressive work out art.
Installation of the products are pretty basic and require no soldering (unless you want your controller to light up).
The products are produced from high quality plastic, painted with chrome and then covered with a layer of lacquer to
make sure your decked out box won't get scratched up.
However, like any product there are some downsides. In this instance the cases are hard to fit together. Don't get
me wrong - they do fit, but requires a bit of force to get them looking right. Additionally, the bottom part of
the Chrome Controller Case Shell interferes with the wireless signal. So unless you're pointing your controller
directly at the 360 it won't pick up your button presses. This is easily solved by not using the bottom half of
the shell. Lastly, like anything Chrome it will get covered with your fingerprints. So if you're going to be
showcasing you 360 it's best to leave it someplace where people won't be handling it.
Other then that the products are well made and of course look great. Installation time for the entire line of
products for someone who has never taken their XBOX 360 apart is around one hour, but seasoned veterans can get it
done much quicker. Overall I'd say the products are worth it and you will have something that most people never
thought would be possible - a decked out chrome XBOX 360.
