Introduction
Talismoon is releasing products for all popular consoles for some time now. Many of them are useful accessories, others
not suited for most users, cause there are better alternatives. The Xbox360™ fan howerver is unique at tne moment and
much more reasonable for the over-all look of the console than the XCM Cooling System (unless you want to mount a
cheap looking display to the case).

The box only contains the fan, nothing else, even a manual is missing. Experienced modders won't need one, but it
would be a big help for all noobs.
Installation
The installation requires the complete disassembling of the Xbox360. If you do so, you'll definitely risk your
manufacturer warranty, and you should know what you're doing. For someone who's taken apart his Xbox360 a few times
before, no additional knowledge is required. Remove faceplate, case side part, top and bottom from the Xbox360 core,
i.e. the metal case.
Since the console is just clipped together, you only have to remove 6 screws after removing the metal case, and then
"unclip" the rest. When it's open, remove the DVD drive and the CPU/GPU air duct. You should now reach the original
fan without problems. Simply replace it, that means cable off, old fan out, Talismoon fan in, attach power cable to
the Xbox360 mainboard, then reassamble the console and you're done!
Usage
The fan is of high quality, like known from other fans, e.g. Sharkoon or similar. Sadly it's not as massive as the
original Microsoft fan, due to the used material (transparent plastics). It's definitely quiter, but you won't
notice much difference because of the noisy DVD drive. However it upstages the original fan with it's
implemented LEDs! The LEDs correspond nicely with the use plastics and the product itself can be mounted
perfectly (with granted loss of warranty). I'd even say it's fitting 100% and is identical in construction.
Only the stability doesn't match the original fan.
Conclusion
The fan really has a good production quality and is lookking very nice. When you've opened the Xbox360 before, you can
install the fan in under ten minutes. A big downside is the high price, after all it's only a fan, no more no less.
Even if it's making your Xbox360 lokking very cool, you should consider that you'll loose your warranty when
installing it. People who don't care about the warranty and the high price will definitely have fun with this fan.
