Installation

Installation is pretty straight forward and only includes taking your old case off and putting the new one on. It will void your warranty, but there is no soldering involved and would take a novice installer around twenty minutes to get it on correctly.

The first part you'll want to do is to take the original case off. This is done using the included tools and using the guide located on Extreme-Mods site. Once you have it taken apart you can put the hard drive cover on along with the eject button. This involves a unscrewing six screws to accomplish.

Once you've got the hard drive cover and eject button in place you can screw your XBOX 360 back together. Next you simply put the top and bottom of the chrome cover in place. Now face your XBOX 360 in front of you and make sure all of the pegs that hold the front together and in their place.

To finish off the installation you will place the bottom heat cover on and if you're not using a hard drive you can put the hard drive cover on top of where it goes. Lastly, you need to snap the faceplate onto the front of your XBOX 360 which is very easy to do - it just snaps right on. Simple, eh?

Conclusion

Once installed you'll have a fully functional Chrome covered XBOX 360. While there are some minor flaws like the fact the hard drive is a little hard to insert and remove from the case overall it's another great product from Team Xtender. If you're a fan of chrome and want to add some bling to your old and drag looking XBOX 360 you might want to consider purchasing this case or the other similar ones (different colors) Extreme-Mods offers.

This is what the XBOX 360 looks like with both the XCM Chrome case and XCM Chrome controller shell. Pretty bad-ass, huh?

Positives

Professional Design
Easy to Install (no soldering)
Looks Great
Works Just like the Original

Negatives

Hard Drive is harder to insert/remove
Case itself takes a little force to snap into place
