Brakken is at it again now going to dive into the PSP scene starting with everyone's favorite way to spice up their console; skins! Long gone are the old days of choosing a skin then sticking with it for years only to watch it fade and deteriorate with nothing you can do about it.
eXtreme Mods was kind enough to send 5 out of their 15 different types of skins to review and I'm happy to report not only do they work as promised, but look great!
Installation
First clean the PSP's surface (I used the bundled cleaning rag) then simply detach the skin from its backing paper, remove the button padding from the skin and then stick the puppy on!
Alignment was cake and only took around 45 seconds to get everything where it should be. After this I took the skin of and put it back on again ten times! Not only did I do it ten times, but I make sure to smudge up the sticky substance on the bottom with my fingers and it would still stick without fail!
Conclusion
Okay, I admit it's just a skin, but as it can be removed at anytime, wont fall off by itself, will never leave any residue behind, is very easy to adjust if you mess up the alignment and wont crack or peel unless excessive force is used I would highly recommend using one of these puppies until the full sized replacement cases arrive!
